2011 Honda FCX Clarity
The objective of the electric car is to give consumers a vehicle with decent range and reduced emissions. FXC Clarity achieve this goal is a vehicle that offers 73 miles per gallon, emits only water vapor, and can cover 270 miles. The Honda FCX Clarity may have some limitations, but the vehicle is a serious indication that the fuel cell technology may even be beneficial.
The FCX Clarity is the host of a powertrain consisting of a battery, a fuel cell, electric motor and a storage tank of hydrogen. The fuel cell generates electricity from the reaction between oxygen and hydrogen. This electricity powers the motor and wheels. The battery stores excess recovery systems as cell braking and fuel.
The clarity of sounds like a dream car, but at this stage it is only offered in the State of California for a three-year lease at $ 600.00 per month. It must be done at Hondas plant in Torrance headquarters and must be stimulated in the sale of hydrogen stations in the region.
