Next Generation Ford Figo Arrives at the end of 2013
Ford Figo is the best selling model for Ford in India.Ford Figo changed fortunes for the American Carmaker in India.Ford recently given a facelift for Figo.One of the big weak points of Figo is the design.All that is set for a change Ford is working on the next generation Figo.Ford currently sells figo in selected markets.But the next generation Figo will be a global product with different name in various markets.Ford Brazil is working on the next generation Figo.
Car and Driver Brazil has published a rendering of next generation Figo.Ford will completely redesign the figo.Ford want the figo to be more sporty and young Looking.Front design will be inspired from the New Ford Fusion.Rear tail lamps will be designed in the shape of boomerang.On the interior Futuristic styling Like the fiesta will be adopted.Next generation Figo get so many features.Ford is also working on a sedan based on Figo which will replace the Classic in India.Next generation Figo will get both diesel and Petrol engine options.we can expect the 1.0 L Ecoboost engine to make an appearance.Ford will unveil the next generation Figo by the end of 2013.

Design cues for the next generation Punto will be taken from the Fiat 500 and the new Panda. In the front artist has taken the current generation Punto Design and made it more evolve and sporty. Center of the Hood get two distinctive lines focusing to the Fiat logo in the grill. Head lamps are swept back and fog Lamps design is much more sharper now. Flared wheel arches reminds you of the Fiat Panda. C Pillar is more slopping which gives the impression of a coupe. Rear Door handles are placed like the Chevrolet Beat. Overall the design is more sporty and aggressive which goes in line with the traditional design of Fait Punto.
