The All New 2012 Chevy Cruze

The All New 2011 Chevy Cruze
Cruze challenges conventional compact wisdom with one simple
word: more. Its cavernous, quiet interior and beautifully sculpted exterior feel like luxury. Cruze is filled
with performance, safety and technology features you wont believe
come in a compact.
Overview
Get Used to More
Cruze offers upscale presence with the fuel economy(17) and price tag of a compact. And with its sculpted exterior and refined interior, it feels more li
ke a sanctuary than a car when youre behind the wheel. Looks like youll have to get used to more.
More Safety
The Cruze is designed to offer continuous protection to you
and your precious cargo. Its more safety than youre used to, but youll adjust.
More Performance
With the fuel economy of a compact car(17) and the amenities of a mid-size, the Cruze gives you the best of two worlds. Making a choice can be difficult, so dont.
More Features
With all its upscale amenities and features like available navigation(18) and refined interior finishes, the Cruze offers a premium driving experience.
Exterior
Raising the bar and turning heads
Cruze has a distinct look — one you wont see in other cars in its class. Its beveled hood, sharp angles and sculpted fenders are details generally reserved for luxury vehicles — but not anymore.
Interior
Generous room and comfort

Cruze only seems like a compact from the outside. Inside, its a different story. The cavernous interior of Cruze not only has more passenger room than Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla, but it also has more cargo space too. Thats something to brag about, but Cruze chooses to go about things quietly in the interior. Its designed with 30 distinct acoustical treatments — including a triple-sealed, acoustic-laminated glass windshield — to create a serene interior.
Performance
Sophisticated performance, ride and handling
How do you create an efficient car thats fun to drive? It has to start with the engine. The available 1.4L

turbocharged engine is the ideal size — small yet powerful — designed for efficiency without compromising performance. It delivers 138 horsepower and accelerates with authority. Cruze takes on tight corners with rack-mounted electric power steering and a race-proven Z-link rear suspension(9). Its a driving experience you might not expect in a compact. And thats the point.
Fuel-saving technology no compact can compete with.
Cruze has solutions most compacts dont offer. Its standard six-speed transmissions, like the manual in Cruze LS, help offer 26 MPG city and 36 highway(6). Cruze LT and LTZ have a six-speed automatic transmission and the 1.4L turbocharged engine - a performance increase that helps Cruze offer 36 MPG highway(6). Coming late 2010, Cruze Eco is expected to offer up to 40 MPG highway(7). Thats better standard highway fuel economy than 2011 Ford Focus or 2011 Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla offer(8).
Over 4 million miles of testing
The Cruze blueprint chose solutions over sacrifices, and then fine-tuned each one over 4 million miles of durability testing. When we wanted to test handling and braking, where better than on the ice and snow of Scandinavia? Cruze proved itself in some hostile environments: continuous driving in the heat of the Arabian Desert, high-altitude in the Alps, intense moisture in Thailand and more. Then it was put through the paces on some of the best test tracks in the world, including the famed Nurburgring in Germany. Cruze is one of the most tested vehicles in Chevrolet history, and thats why we guarantee the quality with a 100,000 mile/5-year Powertrain Warranty(3).
Safety
The "more" approach to safety
Cruze engineers applied the same philosophy to safety that they did to everything else. Thats why Cruze comes with 10 standard air bags(11) — to help protect heads, chests and knees. It comes with a high-strength steel safety cage and roof crush resistance that outperforms the requirements. Even better, every Cruze comes protected and connected by OnStar®(5) with the Directions & Connections Plan® — including Automatic Crash Response — standard for the first six months.
